For the past few months, all of us have been witnessing a cheap way of getting politicaly popular. The way Raj Thakery and now a cogener the Shiv sena chief, have created a hate campaign against the north indians esp Bihari’s is so disrespectful to the enitre feeling of being an Indian. Using the common man for their insatiable political needs,is just so inane. Our constitution provides for freedom of living anywhere in india. And i believe that no one can deny you jobs or take away your right to earn and live a decent living just because you belong to a particular state which is proabably not so developed.Even if people coming from north india settle in Mumbai, alongside earning their living they do contribute to the state eranings as well, whether that person is a celebrity or a common man.
I do respect the sentiments of belonging to a particular caste or religion, its natural to harbour love for your own religion, but that dosen’t give you the right to put down people from other religions or castes. We all know how the north indians had to face recently in Mumbai..the wrath of the maharastrians, tho i agree they might be just a handful of goons who do all this on the behest of some politicaly hungry leadres, but it does give a bad name to the entire Maharashtra.
Senior leadres like Bal Thakery, should for a moment pause and think that such statements against “Bihari’s” or any north indian could someday lead to sporadic violence anywhwerein India. No one should be infact allowed to make statments which result in incisions within the people ofethis country.I sometimes feel that the freedom of speech and expressions is wrongfuly used by a handful of those who don’t see anything beyond caste, creed, religion. Our’s is such a huge country, the largest democracy in the world, its bound to happen that all states do not develop equally, and i think everyone has the right to live and work anywhwere they want to.Judging people on the basis of their caste, religion is wrongful.India is a sensitive country when it comes to religion,so therefore a comment,a statement should be pondered over several times before making it public, thinking about the repercussions of such deplorable words.
Aren’t there more important issues to ponder on,then why waste time and energy on such meaningless issues, which would only and only propogate hatered and violenece.I just hope that our politicians be more responsible and for a change think about the country and symbolise love and peace, rather than fulfilling their personal motives and try and built in themselves some moral uprightness.

They leave no opportunity, to gain mileage out of other`s misery. Though I am not able to understand the problem in India, but I am sure its similar to what we are facing as socio-economic crisis with Māori people in New Zealand.
